Suffocating (Originally Untitled) – Written August 2005 (Aged 30)

if i pushed someone away
it was only because they said things
that just were not true
i didn’t mean to hurt them but the hurt i felt –
when someone just cannot see your point of view
if i pushed them away
then i have to say i am truly sorry
but when you first meet people
you are just two strangers in life
i never meant to make you upset
but sometimes love is suffocating
your personal space feels less and less
it is meant with absolute best intentions
but it is not an issue you can face
i am sorry for this, i don’t have what you need
but you have to let people take a course
