Looking Back

looking back
over my life
it has been, ’emotional’
it has required buckets
i never thought i had
teardrops
i can easily catch
laughter
that needs a match

looking back
feels safe now
roads ahead,
still need mapping
dreams,
always need backing
but
it is has been an extensive journey
regrets, changes,
what is the point
i did what i did with the materials i had
and tried to fashion something
