Do Not Over Share

there are always those –
who you may have found yourself with
a pile of clothes
and something to give
lifelines did not converge
different destinations did not merge
but you look at each other
and wonder if, or the attraction could converge
but wisdom tries to teach you –
that you can over share
this is our human nature
this is just attraction
there are always those –
who may have been something different –
had roads taken a different turn
wisdom tries to teach us –
so we must learn
a pile of clothes –
and beds that easily burn
exchanging social glances
body language –
learning politely led dances
take comfort in those moments
when someone feels close to you
take comfort in their concern and their care
stay completely sane –
you have the warmth, do not over share
