The Longest Running Farce – Written August 2004 (Aged 29)

The Longest Running Farce

let us be honest
none of us care for the office
the politics
the egos
the pettiness
the stunted growth
that is the list
and let us be honest
it could never be missed
all those fragile egos
in a shop of glass
a blame culture and no responsibility
in the longest running farce
let us be honest
none of us need that
the wage packet looks slim
and the company gets fat
hoping to go forwards
but always going back
do i have a life line?
i think i will just past
show me i can exit
from this longest running farce
