I Read a Magazine
i read a magazine today
and through the smiles
i did not believe a word they had to say
they signed up
to an impossible convention
an exploitation situation
with only one,
rather inevitable conclusion
i read a magazine today
and realised i could never live under illusions
i am not so much a cynic at heart
but i know what is true
and i know my part
management rhetoric is passed on
it is a piece of nonsense
but acts like a hypnotic song
i read a magazine today
i wish i had not bothered v
i wish i had just thrown away
it was just absolute rubbish
and the people inside had nothing to say
they were high on power
but had not noticed their winter
and the death of all the flowers
