Stuck on Labels

as a mother –
you have this rage
that your child –
has been labelled
and it is far from flattering…
yet, you labelled me
and i am someone’s son
so how do you think –
that makes my mother feel?
the label you gave me
has immense repercussions
yet, you saw fit to label
where were the discussions?
as a mother –
you have this anger
maybe next time –
you want to say something
my advice would be –
try to imagine how others feel
based upon –
how it would make you feel
