Lazy Window Eyes – Written Thursday 18th August 2006 (Aged 31)

Lazy Window Eyes

roll down –
those lazy window eyes
scrub clean –
those dirty sunshine skies
aubergine dreams
hang onto those dreams
on another day
let boats moor in your harbour
your ardour, only you can save
when will –
sunny disposition
find a vacant deckchair
on your beach of despair
roll down –
those lazy window eyes
a powder puff princess
cleans the house
where there is a mess
and not a single soul
when are you coming out to play
roll up those decadent dreams
