The Theory Test

i am sitting here in rags
i am well blessed
even if i do fail the theory test
i am sitting here on the settee
i am clambering to get the truth
the truth of me
i threw away a lot of things
last night i went through my life
a little bit of my past
i was struck by the memories
and your valentines card
it spoke of how things used to be
what was i to you
what were you to me
but i am still well blessed
my rags shine so well
you were the one to fail the test
i knew i would survive the hum
i am well blessed
