Strangers in the Cafe
friends and maybe family
need you,
far more than outsiders
the universe is alive
it has nomadic riders
people who feel,
that you should be accepted by them
but change the scene
and learn to find those,
for whom t is nothing when you lean
if i change this and that
i will be doing it for somebody else
and why should i change
when i have spent so bloody long –
working to be myself
friends and maybe family
need you,
far more than strangers in the cafe
the person on the corner
does not even know you name
do not let them tell you what to do
friends and maybe family
always need you
