I Have Dealt With Worse

i am stronger than the pain
i have been through worse
it is september and there is still sunshine
so what does it matter if i hurt
i am stronger than rejection
i have had all that
i know i can find positive direction
i am stronger than weak tears
you may not know my story
but i have got through harder years
i am stronger than your touch
yes, i miss you holding me
i miss it more than i care to admit
and i cannot even explain the feeling
but i am stronger than this
fingertips can always reach for the ceiling
and it suits you i bet,
to think i am sitting here, falling apart
but i learnt many years ago
that it is important to laugh
i am stronger than people think
after all it was me that faced my past
