Mine Skips a Beat

your lazy heartbeat
your feelings reeling
your lazy heart
luck is out to sea
i found a lighthouse
but the door did not open for me

your lazy heartbeat
it does not understand
how the lazy feel
it must have skipped school
because mine skips a beat

i am turning and changing
letting dark sides find the sun
an addict for this,
your lazy heartbeat
its backbeat is strange
it moves well with my two left feet
