The Book I Am
you open me up
like the book i am
you tear out my pages
and forget my hands
you dress in the –
clothes of my charity
you are next to me
who are you using?
you take my feelings
and screw them up
into the tiniest ball
you see skittles
so you throw them away
knowing they are brittle
you take advantage –
of my honesty
and drown it in the dark
you smudge your reality
your feelings fail to park
