I Say, Look After Yourself
i say, look after yourself
black and blue does not suit you
a mixed up day
came and decided to stay
you have been screwing it up
since your teens
squandered a million dreams
just to be loved and accepted
you always loved your independence
boadicea the warrior brave
you presented yourself as a fighter
but to loneliness you remain a slave
and growing up has been a lesson
i have seen through the disguise
i have had to watch as you watch me
and realise i know the truth
you were one half of my skelter
now i have two leaks in my roof
boadicea the warrior brave
if only i had never grow up
then the truth might have stayed
i say, look after yourself
