Somewhere to Sit
find me a place to fit –
at the human table
find me a place to sit
even when the time falls away
i am still looking for a day
that fits me like a glove
find me a hand to take
find me a beautiful room
where it is good just to wait
i say don’t worry about the sky
it is ours in another lifetime
find me a place to dwell
find me a good crowd
this is the story i need to tell
find me a place to fit
a space suited to me
somewhere good to sit
