Thunder and Lightning
away from the clouds
and the thunder –
that rolls across the earth
away from the prison
that captures our potential
never to be released
away from the inner fighting
into a world of inner peace
away from the crowds
that manic pecking of our souls
and those irritating sounds
away from the lightning
that appears to stab the earth
but in reality, it stabs the sky
liked forked tongues,
that set out to destroy you
yet never have the power to do so
away from the bitterness
that can ravage the body
a cancer that is hard to cure
time to find somebody
and to obtain something pure
