Absolute Pity
absolute pity
drips from my heart
the sadness
that flooded your brain
how you must be burning
from the heat of the pain
absolute pity
you life is one long treadmill
and you have reached a point
where you know it,
sadly the crushing blow takes it toll
and you try not to share it
absolute pity
your life is rescued by children
of which you smother
you hope no one notices the cracks
and just the fact you are a mother
absolute pity
drips from my heart
