Ghosts That Were Never Really There
they felt that they had got closer
to the truth
than anyone had before
that they had found
an inner truth like some magical door
a truth that had never been seen
despite knowing nothing at all
they placed their own ideals
and their own beliefs onto me
they saw ghosts,
which were never really there
and of course,
there two sides to every story
two sides to every coin
and if you relish jigsaws
then then pieces have to join
there is my side of the story
the side that never really got told
you want some kind of justice and fairness
maybe you need to look at yourself
