Music Box
every bone aches
every moment takes
i have to believe
that out in the wings –
something better waits
the stress
the mess
tidy away your tears
open the music box
leave it on the dressing room table
do it, only when you are able
every bone aches
could close my eyes
for at least a thousand years
need a rainmaker to quell these fears
i top-toe into a room
where they have captured the moon
i make my own time
and dream of sunshine
every bone aches
every moment takes
i have to believe
but, how much longer will we wait?
