Living In a Jar
living in a jar
cannot get very far
looking out –
at everyone looking in
wishing you could one of them
you seem to exhibit a certain sense
as people peer and stare
but it is okay
you found something new today
and if you are lucky
you know –
it might still be there next week
living in a jar
you really feel the heat
and you really start to burn up
but you know it does not matter
one day you will get out
living in a jar
