Others – Written Thursday 30th July 2020 (Aged 45)

to others
i must look clumsy
fumbling my way through life
and my career
i am held close though, by my wife
have spent years
making impressionist artwork
out of their tears
they must look at me
and feel i am fumbling
and crumbling
as i make my way through my life

to others
i must appear
over emotional
and a sorry mess
as they add a shine to their problems
so they always look their best
have spent years
working on their presentation
read a million books
just to find perfect destinations
and here i am,
still trying to work out everyday situations
