A Dark Haired Woman Takes Hold Of Me
a dark haired woman
takes hold of me
i am filling up lists
who knows why this carries on
others make their way
i escape, then i am gone
they burnt down the house
back in the day
a dark haired women
always walks my way
she asked how i have been
you know, i sleep,
and all this seems like a dream
i keep going
who could love this madness
when i feel so far away
i gather up all my sadness
and try to sell it to the world
there is a prying life
and it feels so cold
a dark haired woman
takes hold of me
