You Be Lazy
you be lazy
and lazy –
it does not do much for me
you be arrogant
and you think
you live apart –
from the rest of us
i am forty years old
why is anyone’s life
full of people –
whose self esteem is broken
whose toll road
is one for which they expect a token
it is just too much
and watching –
people make up stories
about their boring thoughts
and non existant glories
do i smell a riot
do i sense a revolution
do i understand commotion
you be lazy
put on the magic lotion
and the discuss, ‘crazy’
then drink your favourite potions
