Gaps and Voids
i see the loss in you
the gaps and voids
you touching –
and reaching for me
it was, ‘nice’
your emptiness –
caught my emptiness
and filled it up inside
two people –
two kindred spirits
both never having –
truly belonged
each marching –
to their own beat
topped by a unique –
signature song
that’s never quite complete
