The Gift of Right Wing Ideology
the great gift –
of right wing ideology
and the right wing agenda
is that it alleviates people –
of self responsibility
and it gives a (false) narrative –
to their own insecurity
and perceived failures
they have an alternate reality
where others can be blamed
it is a gift –
that the left cannot replicate
telling people to listen
and abstain from hate
learning to share responsibility
and as people, we are a collective
it does not carry the same weight
considering others –
is a weight some simply cannot bare
reductionist world views
and bogus simplicity
right wing ideology blames others
and never you
it indulges in othering and blame
and that makes right wing ideology
stick like the strongest glue
