Tired of the Fight – Written Friday 26th February (Aged 35)

Tired of the Fight

tired of the fight
the journey forwards
towards the light
it seems so long
and try as i might
sometimes i just –
do not feel right
sail the ship
away from a selfish plight
climb mountains
just to fly a kite
tired of one step forwards
but two steps back
feeling as if, the only way
is to go on the attack
