You Never Stop Taking a Wrecking Ball to My Life
you never stop –
taking a wrecking ball –
to my skyscrapers
desperate to be the headline –
in all my personal papers
when will you take responsibility
for your actions
how many crazy situations –
can be so easily sanctioned
this time –
you have gone too far
you have taken one step too many
you used to populate my thoughts
and care was plenty
but not anymore
you are providing all the nails –
for me to close those drawers
cutting you out –
as you try to pass the saw
