There’s a Smile on Your Face
there’s a smile on your faces
it catches me a bus
and brings me home
when you are not fighting yourself
when you are not feeling alone
you are the street lighting
outside this very home
and,
i can only be in love with you
in the only way i know how
and i know,
on occasion it could be more
but sometimes, just sometimes
i struggle with the door
there is a hold, a touch
that brings me home
when i am out,
and i am feeling alone
if only you could,
just sometimes avoid the rest
excuse me and my writing
when it becomes a mess
