Ghost Writers – Written Wednesday 18th October 2017 (Aged 42)

Ghost Writers

it is good, is it not
to reclaim an identity
felled by wind, set upon by rot
it is good to have a voice,
when once it was so repressed
yet now, it is without recourse
and it is good, is it not
to tell your own story
and not one told by –
non committal fighters
or a selection –
of non caring ghost writers
but it only exists
in a certain dimension
and the waterfall of words is there
to make you drown
there is no debate
just a volume of words
which replaces a volume of meaning
sociopathic ill winds
culminate in a particular kind of screaming
