The World That Died Yesterday
secrets are bold, get me a seat
there is a story to be told
perched high in my hands
my head tilted with eyes of grey
and i sat and i told,
of the world that died yesterday
how they came from the sky
and decided to stay
i could be wrong, i could be right
but they know about the galaxies
and all the stars at night
then the world started to freeze
and some history was washed away
only to be found in the future
the world that died yesterday
James Garratt – 1994
