Check In Desk – Written Between Tuesday 15th February 1994 and November 1994 (Aged 18/19)

Check In Desk

slowly creeping,
always looking
street lights beckon
outside, someone is shouting
you look around,
your eyes are insane
but no one hears
because it is calling your name
you look up,
your time is up
and it is time to get up
slowly you peel off your shell
you reach the check in desk
you are doing well
