Long Time
it has been a long time
since i have seen you
what does it mean
when no matter –
how hard you try
you cannot get a person
out of your mind
you just cannot forget
it is a murky world
where rivers run dirty
and the information –
drifts away
but the face sticks with you
every day, every single day
it has been along time
since we shared something
and i grew up a little
and i stopped being nothing
but, still, i think of you
