Days of Impulsivity
well,
i am much older –
than i once was
and days of impulsivity
have waned
to protect my sanity
however –
i still conceive my dreams
and dilute my vanity
well,
i have climbed mountains
and swam across rivers
to find treasures
i thought would make me happy
but it is okay
there have been
so many brighter days
