Love Debate – Written Friday 6th August 2010 (Aged 35)

Love Debate

it is not
that i do not love you
it is just that
the love i had
got into a debate
and then a fight
when reality
and home truths bought in –
honest and sanity
and they taught the love i had
a lesson or two
through diagram and reason
and a truer views
they forced love
to show me the real you
they told me
it was for my own good
for my sanity and survival
of course it will be you
rarely have you had a rival
