I Live in Seaside Places – Written August 2010 (Aged 35)

I Live in Seaside Places

you could take me
off my feet
there is not much at stake
but you are the sweep
and all i have is toy drums
so i need a different beat
i live in seaside places
and you could be my streets
you could take me –
away from this frown
you could find my smile
and stop it getting down
it will take a while
you could take me off my feet
there is no bonus scheme
and we make up the treats
because when it gets cold
it is all about the heat
and the expenses are on me
because the jokes are never cheap
we could be adventurers
performing such amazing treats
