Crazy Day – Written Sunday 16th April 2000 (Aged 25)

Crazy Day

must be a crazy day
that came our way
well, sleep will come
and turn –
your tears into dreams
as i get older, when it comes to –
insanity and sanity
it’s much harder to see the seam
and easier,
to find my dreams
must be a crazy day
that came to haunt us
live it and let it go
let is disappear into your memories
let it disappear,
like footprints in the snow
do not hold onto it, let it be free
must be a crazy day
that came and found you and me
we will sleep alone
by feelings and the telephone
and as the minutes go by
we will wonder why
must be a crazy day
