Remember

i remember writing letters
of how i felt
i remember a train journey
and a place far away
i remember childhood as a realm
strange and other worldly
i remember a day
where school was all rained out
and no one had anything to say

i remember writing letters
to those i was with
to those i really liked
those eager to give me their gift
i remember the chase
in the alleyways that i never liked
well things arrive
who needs to fight?
i remember you
and here you are again
i remember that train journey
and here i am on that train
