Struggles – Written Thursday 20th May 2021 (Aged 46)

Struggles

today was harder than others
just found it tough to get going
i slept on the sofa
just for a while
to try and lift the fog
today i had my struggles
and my optimism
was stuck in a bubble
so tomorrow,
i have to apply to my make-up
and find a positive grin
so when the day wakes up
i can begin
today i had my struggles
i felt isolated
and stuck in a loop
i found my wellbeing
trying to jump through fiery hoops
