Give Us Space – Written Wednesday 5th December 2001 (Aged 26)

Given Us Space

i just want some space
somewhere to store
a pretty face
we do not get much time to ourselves
and we always seeming to be showing off
to everybody else
i know i should not bite
but we had just one night
when there is no other
you have to understand what is like
we are not together
night after night
it was just one night
one night to pretend
we have all the time in the world
and i know the choice we made
it is protecting us from the cold
we just want space
like the man on the moon
the lunatic in his care
the travels of a loon,
just give us some time
and we will alright soon
