Be What We Imagined – Written Tuesday 1st March 2016 (Aged 41)

Be What We imagined

cannot always stem the tide
that washes away tears
which have settled like snow inside

stop a cold,
in the driving snow
my, how this wind can blow
holding onto each other,
never let go

be what we imagined
there are so many way back when’s
let’s prioritise those clouds
and find a path again

be what you dreamed of
when the bed was freshly made
before the storm and the snow that settled

James Garratt – Tuesday 1st March 2016
