Days Of Our Lives
the saddest days of our lives
were the days,
that we now think,
were the happiest
and the most carefree,
but all we did was flail about
and not construct a solid reality
the carefree days of your life
were the days,
when were the least free
trying to convince people to love us
when we did not know who to be
marriages,
relationships,
they all add layers
and loss gives a telling nod
those days
when the peaks seemed like a triumph
all end in days,
that held a lorry load of junk
the saddest days of our lives
were the days,
when thought we were the happiest
