Each Day is a Different Stop
did you think of me this morning?
i know you can hide the harshness
of those unreliable feelings
the feelings that we cradle
that we drink by the largest ladle
these feelings, they carry us
but it is never just one destination
because each day is a different stop
and you know, you can paint any sky
when you feel there are no mountains
even though you know they are there
we may be blind but they do exist
so, did you think of me this morning?
was i running through your emotions
and tumbling though your imagination
it must surely be a real situation
because what i feel, it is so strong
and i know we pull each other along
