For Keeps

this smile of mine
it is yours for keeps

use it to float happy thoughts
when you are asleep

this smile is mine
but i will give it to you
it will be there to help
when times seem less new

this smile of mine
could be a key to a door
it is yours,
yours for sure
have it for keeps
it could be antidote
for when you start to weep
