Let Go – Written Monday 27th June 2011 (Aged 36)

Let Go

let go
slow down on the stream
you, you are a dream
and this is just darkness
the kind that fills out the seams
you, you are bound by someone’s one
the type you yearn to receive
it is not your fault
and you should not grieve

let go
relax, do not be me
fighting with demons
clinging to guilt and shame
that in a workshop
tried to guild my brain
why do you and why do we –
bow down to the these faceless –
space-less mindless people
heaving in on our dreams
pushing out all my hope
but you, you are everything it seems
