Snowflakes in Your Sky
i am snowflakes in your sky
you are the summer sun
that longs to dry
i hold you, i hug you and i try
fear is the caterpillar
and love is the flourishing butterfly
but love is concepts –
flowers –
hopes, dreams not yet grown
a softer side, a hand not shown
i am the snowflake looking to settle
be sunshine that warms this mettle
