Following in Love With You

it is raining outside
but i am inside
and i am clinging to you
it is warm
and just about right
but it is raining right now
and i am just a boy
waiting for sun
others are people
who only mean me harm
and they fall like rain
never keeping me warm
but i am inside
and i am holding onto you
it makes the rain
fall without meaning
the world may be mad
and leave me screaming
but with you there is a bond
and abstract dreaming
it is raining outside
and these people may seek me out
and enjoy my tears
but i am inside with you
just melting my fears
hoping dreams come true
plotting future years
and falling in love with you
