It Was All There – Written May 2009 (Aged 34)

It Was All There

it was all there
the comfort and the security
but like so many
there were hills –
mountains and pastures new
but weeds grow instead
happy moments, too few

it was all there
just in front of you
but it blew in the breeze
tears too many,
wet like dew
the eyes so round and empty
love without the clues

James Garratt – May 2009
