The Microscope View
under the eye of truth
you know i am flawed
because in the sweetness
of a microscopic glare
of my faults,
you will become bitterly aware
i came forwards
and i can be adored
ultimately, i am flawed
especially in that –
revealing microscopic glare
even if the holes in my hull
let the light shine through
and the suit –
may be interesting to look at
but there has to be a question mark
over the quality of its threads
under the eye of truth
under the glare of the microscope
because when placed upon a slide
all the pain and all the guilt
it is shown from the inside
and that is what i am
a human being of so many contradictions
living in a world of strange strands
