Relationship

relationships –
are not as easy as writing a poem
one is free flowing
and one is on going
so i sit here with paper and pen
i know i should always tell it true
and i know i should tell it all over again

relationships –
are not as easy as writing a poem
one comes with ease
and one takes a lot of growing
one is fuelled by hurt
and one is a very steep learning curve

if the poem is the straight line
then i will hold onto you
and i will make sure i know what is truly fine
sometimes i wish we were all knowing
