The Sound of You – Written May 2002 (Aged 27)

The Sound of You

the sound of you
like a gentle tap
on a stain glass window
that hangs high
in the place of my church
footsteps echo gently
reminding me of value
that comes from the inside
the inside of you
hands move with ease
propelled with only feeling
never caught by a breeze
the sound of you
is reminders of sun
and the days lost to the rain
like a gentle tap
against a stain glass window
