What More Can I Give
some days i feel tired
feel under scrutiny
what more can i give?
i am only me
let me be on my own
so you noticed my selfish streak
you are lucky i even use the telephone
me and myself
have always got on
me, myself, they have always got on
they have stayed
whilst others have been long gone
some days i feel tired
feel so exposed
just a soul with no shell
no flesh to call its clothes
could i be any better, most definitely
but i do not always have the capacity
